Have you been wondering whether you can get pizza delivery at Disney resorts? Read ahead for everything you need to know about ordering pizza at your Disney hotel!
Is there anything better than takeout pizza after a long day? I don’t think so!
It’s no secret that walking around the Disney parks builds up a hearty appetite. But you might not necessarily want to stick around Disney Springs or book in for character dining at Disney World if you’re feeling exhausted.
Sometimes, you just want to relax in your room with the latest release on Disney+ and decompress.
Trust me, we’ve all been there.
You can certainly grab room service if you’re staying at certain onsite hotels, but you might be wondering whether you can get pizza delivery at Disney resorts.
Luckily for you, I’ve put together the ultimate guide to getting pizza delivery at Disney resorts.
Covering everything from how to order on UberEats to nearby restaurants that deliver, you’ll be chowing down on pizza in no time.
Now let’s get to it.
Can You Get Pizza Delivery at Disney Resorts?
If you’re wondering whether you can get pizza delivery at Disney resorts, the answer is yes!
Although you can’t order from any of the park restaurants, you’ll be able to grab room service, use UberEats, or get food brought to your hotel by a local pizzeria.
I’ve always found that using a delivery app was the easiest option for most people, as it gives you the flexibility to order from your bed (and who doesn’t love that?!).
But it’s also an excellent option if you want every single restaurant within delivery distance at your fingertips.
This gets you out of calling individual pizza places to find out they’re closed or out of range.
And hey – if you fancy a side of Chinese food or a burger with your order, you’ll be able to order from multiple places at once.
Score!
Where to Get Pizza Delivery at Disney Resorts?
When it comes to getting pizza delivery at Disney resorts, you have quite a few options.
What you choose will depend on how long you’re willing to wait, where you’re staying, and what kind of pizza you want.
Just a word of warning; if you get pizza flyers shoved under your room door – proceed with caution.
There’s nothing wrong with these places necessarily, but I’m always wary about ordering from unfamiliar spots without an established online reputation.
If you like the look of any of the flyers you see, it’s always worth checking out Yelp reviews, calling ahead for a vibe check, and requesting cash payment on delivery.
Whatever you do, I wouldn’t trust your credit card information with unfamiliar companies.
It’s not the case for every single pizza joint, but many of these companies are fronts for stealing credit card information.
So, I always suggest ordering from an established chain, local restaurants (on delivery apps), or Disney’s in-room pizza delivery service.
Better to be safe than sorry, right?
Room Service at Disney Resorts
If you want to get pizza delivery at Disney, the easiest option is to order in-room dining service.
According to Disney, it’s “always hot, tasty, and the most convenient of the options”. And really, who can argue with that?
It’s not available at every single Disney World resort, but you can currently order pizza delivery at:
- Disney’s All Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s All Star Music Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
If you’re staying at the Grand Floridian, you can grab whole pizzas from the Gasparilla Island Grill that you can take to your room. Though I’ll agree that this isn’t strictly getting pizza delivery at Disney!
Ordering from Delivery Services and National Chains
One of my favorite ways to get pizza delivery at Disney resorts is by hitting up local delivery services on UberEats or GrubHub.
Not only is this incredibly easy, but you’ll have access to opening hours, menus, and addresses at your fingertips.
This should give you a decent idea about what’s available and let you know how long you should expect your order to take.
This means you can head down to the lobby before your driver arrives and choose something that delivers in a flash (if you’re starving!).
Oh, and you’re allowed to order alcohol if you didn’t get your fill of beer in Magic Kingdom during the day.
Just saying.
How to get pizza delivery at Disney
If you’re getting pizza delivery at Disney, you’ll need to meet your driver in the lobby of the hotel.
Unfortunately, drivers aren’t allowed up to your door as it’s considered a security risk (which is understandable!).
Not only are Domino’s and Pizza Hut within Reach, but you can easily grab top-up dishes from Subway and popular burger joints like Burger King and Five Guys.
So, if you’re having arguments about getting pizza delivery at Disney (or you have a fussy kiddo!), this should keep everyone happy.
If you’re desperate for food from Disney Springs, there is also a selection of restaurants that offer delivery on UberEats and GrubHub.
Being able to grab breakfast from Disney Springs without having to wake up early?
The dream.
Restaurants for Pizza Delivery at Disney
Giordano’s
If you want to get pizza delivery at Disney resorts but don’t want to eat from a national chain, you can’t beat Giordano’s.
It specifically serves the Orlando-Universal area and is perfect if you enjoy Chicago-style deep-dish pies.
And don’t worry, they’re all about thin-crust pizzas, salads, and sandwiches too!
It’s on the slower side when it comes to delivery as they’re usually pretty overloaded with orders. But if you don’t mind waiting, their food is truly delicious.
For this reason, I always recommend calling before placing an order. This way, you can see whether you’re willing to wait for delivery or would rather head elsewhere.
Flippers
If you’re looking to get a pizza delivery at Disney resorts after the fireworks show, Flippers is the place to check out.
Not only is it open until 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays, but it’s serving customers until 11 pm on weekdays!
The pizzas range from around $8 to $25, but the price varies significantly depending on what you order.
Simple pizzas are relatively affordable, but I’m always partial to throwing in a few salads, appetizers, and desserts to spice things up.
What can I say – I’m a sucker for chowing down on food in my hotel room with a movie playing!
They take cash and major credit cards, but you can pay by traveler’s check if that’s all you have (but honestly, I’d stick to cash or card!).
You can either order online or by phone and your driver will give you a quick call once they’re around 10 minutes from your resort.
As I mentioned earlier, you’ll need to be ready in the lobby of your resort to protect hotel guests and your driver.
In terms of delivery times, this spot is on International Drive which is approximately 23 minutes from the Grand Floridian.
So, you should get your food relatively quickly.
Uno Pizzeria and Grill
Another awesome choice for pizza delivery at Disney resorts is Uno Pizzeria and Grill.
Although it has a minimum order value of $15, it’s the perfect place to stop for deep-dish pizzas and burgers.
Yep – it’s kind of a one-stop shop!
A typical pizza will set you back between $10 and $29, but you’ll need to throw in extra cash if you’re planning to add extra toppings.
Like other pizza spots near Disney World, they accept cash, cards, traveler’s checks, and regular checks.
Once you’ve given your number for the delivery, you’ll need to meet your driver in the lobby (you’ll get a call from the driver before they set off!).
To give you an idea of delivery times, this spot is approximately 25 minutes away from the Grand Floridian.
Paisan Pizzeria
My final pick for excellent restaurants for pizza delivery at Disney resorts is Paisan Pizzeria which is in the nearby town of Kissimmee.
Which is one of the best places to live near Disney World as it’s just 26 minutes from the parks (even with traffic!).
It’s a relatively basic pizzeria, but it serves a great range of pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and wings that will suit the entire family.
Better yet, there’s a fabulous selection of beers, wines, and mixers that are bound to go down well.
